For World Food Day, the community came out to help us build our first garden box! That Texas sun is no joke, but we pushed through, planting vegetables in the big box, and edible plants in the smaller boxes. Thank you to Prairie View A&M University for partnering with us on the garden. When Tiffani shared her vision for giving back to her community, I was all onboard, because it’s important to eliminate food deserts everywhere. Acres Homes has so much potential, and Honor Humanity will be there to help her realize it. Finally, thank you to everyone who donated their time, energy and/or money to this project. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are grateful you believe in our causes and you believe in us. We have one more garden box to build, so please reach out if you’d like to help.
