We believe wellness is a right, not a privilege. Our programs support both physical and mental well-being through education, access, and compassion. By honoring the full dignity of each person, we create inclusive spaces where healing and health can thrive — especially for those most often overlooked or underserved.
Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus, most of the country has been sheltering in place to prevent spreading the virus and flatten the curve. We’ve used Zoom, IG Live, and FaceTime to stay connected, host virtual parties, share music, recipes, and thoughts. The Healthy At Home series promoted health and quality of life, two key aspects of the Urban League’s mission.
Our Co-Founder Jason, in his late 40s, has health issues and weight gain. He witnessed loved ones die due to neglect. He wants to inspire Black men and women to prioritize their health and wellness, showing them how to achieve fitness goals while managing busy lives. Jason discovered running later in life, and has embarked on a journey to complete 6 major marathons.
Every dollar gets us closer to providing hope to people in under-served communities across the country. Give what you can today!
