Agriculture + Culinary Training

Our agriculture and culinary training programs are grounded in respect for both people and the planet. Through hands-on learning, we empower individuals with the skills to grow and prepare fresh, nourishing food — equipping underserved communities with the tools to reclaim health, independence, and economic opportunity. We work to dismantle food apartheid and promote equity in access to nutrition and sustainability.

We kicked off our inaugural service in Houston’s SunnySide and Cloverland communities by feeding elders and partnering with Prairie View A&M University for a day of learning and action around food insecurity.

For World Food Day, we built our first garden box in Acres Homes with the community’s support, planting fresh food and partnering with Prairie View A&M University to fight food deserts and uplift local potential.

Online Course

S.E.E.D.S. consists of three 10 minute courses with an emphasis on educating attendees on the nutritional benefits of growing fresh produce and creating a dish with the produce you’ve grown.

We want to create a culinary program focused on teaching young adults the basics of food preparation sustainable food growth and restaurant/kitchen operations. 

Where sports, soil, and service unite to root wellness into the heart of every community. An initiative that goes beyond gardens to plant possibility in under-resourced neighborhoods across the country.
